Walthers Cornerstone Trackside Oil Dealer with Storage Tanks (HO Scale) Part# 933-4059

Prototypes for the Walthers Cornerstone Trackside Oil Dealer with Storage Tanks could be seen along North American railroad lines beginning in the 1920s as oil became popular for heating, industrial and automotive use. Oil arrived in tank cars and was transferred into on-site storage tanks. This versatile kit allows you to arrange it to fit available space. It includes a row of five tanks complete with rooftop walkways. A corrugated storage warehouse is perfect for loading barrels into trucks. At busy locations barrels would arrive in boxcars. A corrugated office and a pump house for filling up local delivery trucks can be arranged wherever needed. The Trackside Oil Dealer with Storage Tanks is just one of a wide selection of Cornerstone railroad-served industrial buildings.
