ICM Models 1/35 Brave Ukraine: Sappers (Minesweepers) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (3) w/Dog & Equipment Kit

In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as in other armies of the world, the tasks of sapper units include conducting engineering surveys of the area and equipping and removing minefields. Ukrainian sappers also provide engineering support to their units for defensive or offensive combat operations. The position of a sapper in the military is considered one of the most difficult. Often they are forced to work ahead of their infantry, being at the very forefront of combat operations, as they pave the way, literally and figuratively. Dogs help sappers find explosive devices. The canine service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine was established in 2017, and with the outbreak of large-scale hostilities, the need for mine detection dogs has increased several times.
