Busch 52953 HO Scale 1955 VW Beetle Oval Window Model, Coral Red

The Busch 52953 is a fully assembled HO scale (1:87) model of the 1955 Volkswagen Beetle, featuring the characteristic oval rear window and a sliding sunroof, finished in an eye-catching coral red (salmon). It is a ready-to-run miniature that captures one of the most enduring automobiles in history.

The Beetle famously "runs and runs and runs": for more than 60 years it has rolled along roads all over the world. Its story began in 1931 in Ferdinand Porsche's design office, and the car's success ultimately gave rise to the city of Wolfsburg, home of the Volkswagen works founded in 1938. This Busch 52953 model honors that legacy with true-to-prototype proportions, clear glazing, fine printing and neat detailing that make it a standout in any 1:87 scene of the mid-1950s.
